We are currently seeking a
Sales Associate at our Bay City, MI facility. This position includes travel Monday-Friday, 2 weeks per month. No weekend travel.This person will be responsible for assisting customers with their rotor and spare parts needs, whether it be sales or technical support.
- Maintain existing customer account relationships, while developing new sales opportunities
- Provide customer support via phone and email
- Work with customers and engineering to identify parts required
- Coordinate sales activities to support the rotor department and its overall goals
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Customer cold calls
- Track orders from receipt to delivery at the customer�s plant
- Generate customer quotations
- Quotation follow-up
- Enter new orders
- Order follow-up
- Travel required
- College Degree preferred (will consider high school diploma or GED with experience)
- Prior sales experience required
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings
- Strong communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Driver's license
- Able to work in a TEAM environment
- Superior time-management and organization skills
- Must have excellent customer service skills and phone etiquette
