Location: Burlington, Vermont. In-office primarily, with some remote days. Travel to customer and construction sites and industry events as needed.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a customer-focused and collaborative Sales Operations Manager to join our team and support our sales department in delivering exceptional customer experience and driving operational excellence.


Job Summary:


The Sales Operations Manager will be the key facilitator between the Sales team, Operations team and Finance team. The key responsibility of this position is to ensure that all closed sales opportunities are executed properly, delivered on time and on budget, and completed, ensuring customer satisfaction. This is a dynamic multi-functional position that will also require sales activities assisting the Director of Sales such as presentations and qualifying leads for larger more complex commercial sales while managing some key accounts. This position will also manage product conformity testing and quality to ensure consistent production of Glavel.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist the Director of Business Operations and Plant Operations team to schedule customer shipments in a timely manner.
  • Assist the Director of Sales in providing competitive shipping quotes to customers.
  • Build close relationships and coordinate with the logistics partners to achieve timely and dependable deliveries of product to customers.
  • Educate and guide commercial prospects regarding technical product details.
  • Contribute sales opportunities and data out to the Director of Sales, including:
  • Processing and qualifying commercial sales opportunities as they arise.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key firms and contacts.
  • Determine the appropriate course of action to close sales effectively.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries, complaints, and requests.
  • Forecasting and reporting
  • Assist in organizing and preparing for marketing events such as �Lunch and Learns†with clients.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to develop and refine sales assets.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, deals, and relevant data.
  • Provide support to the Director of Sales as needed to meet team goals.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor�s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years experience in sales, marketing, construction management, or related fields.
  • Relentless attention to detail on all work carried out.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, such as Hubspot.
  • Proven sales track record with relevant products or services.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain client relationships and sales channels.
  • Knowledge of high-performance building systems and construction practices, including Passive House, LEED, Net Zero, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work in a hybrid environment.
  • Deep understanding of emerging trends in construction sectors across North America.
