This is a Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm position
Why does the job exist?
This position will be responsible for patient assessments, care recommendations, health education, scheduling and documentation.
How does it get done?
The incumbent will provide better access to care by being available to the clinic patient's calls during normal clinic operating hours and streamlining their care need and scheduling appointments. They will also schedule patients in the clinic who have symptoms and directing patients who need emergency care.

Minimum Qualification
Must possess a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in New Mexico, or eligibility for such licensure in accordance with New Mexico requirements, or eligibility for a temporary license issued for employment at a specific institution in New Mexico and two (2) years of experience as it pertains to the essential duties and responsibilities of the classification.
Employment Requirements
Must successfully pass a background check.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in a hospital clinic setting with extended periods of sitting, standing and computer and phone use.
