Job Description

Basin Environmental and Safety Technologies is looking to hire an experienced roustabout responsible for supporting oil and gas operations and facility builds. The roustabout needs to have experience with equipment they are qualified to operate including hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment. This position requires the ability to work in all types of inclement and extreme weather conditions, and available both day and night shift on the rare occasion they are needed. This position also requires a commitment to understanding and exhibits safe work practices, following safety protocol, federal and state laws and regulations as well as representing the organization in a professional and courteous manner at all times.

• Shows up on time and ready to work
  
• Ability to life and move materials greater than 80 pounds
  
• Safely work in potentially hazardous environment
  
• Secure truck and trailer loads for safe transport
  
• Perform upkeep and maintenance on equipment
  
• Install and make repairs to piping, valves, pumps, oil and water tanks etc..
  
• Install and repair pipelines
  
• Install and build tank batteries
  
• Clean up oil spills and various other environmental spills.
  
• Stormwater maintenance
  
• Willing to work overtime
  
• Heavy equipment experience preferred
  
• Successfully and independently tracks and performs assigned tasks within a project or program. Tracks multiple task or project deadlines and alerts manager in advance of conflicts.
  
• May provide additional support to other project teams.
  
• Accurately responds to requests and inquiries from managers/clients in a professional and timely manner.

• CDL preferred
  
• Acceptable motor vehicle record with no more than two moving violations in 3 years
