Roofing Department Supervisor

Western Products is looking for a reliable, experienced Roofing Department Supervisor to add to our team. In this role, you’ll provide outstanding leadership and support to our residential and commercial crews, our service technicians in the field, and our in-house operations team. Our team members are the backbone of our company, and the Roofing Department Supervisor will be a critical part of that team. This role will provide support and project management to residential and commercial crews, ensuring timely completion of all jobs. Additional duties include:

Assist with recruitment, hiring, and retention of top talent

Keep current on product knowledge and installation techniques by attending training seminars and vendor shows

Work closely with the Service & Installation Manager to promote quality installations and top-notch customer service experience

Enforce a safety-conscious culture by promoting safe work practices in the field

Coordinate daily with our Production & Scheduling Lead to assess job duration, required parts and equipment, and other installer needs

Communicate with customers to assess and respond to any issues or concerns

Perform quality control inspections on jobsites

High School Education, College degree is a plus

Have a thorough understanding of the various roof manufacturers’ system requirements and assemblies for the purposes of quality on work put in place

Must possess a valid, insurable driver’s license

Must take and pass all needed manufactures installation certifications such as GAF Master Elite

Computer knowledge and proficiency required including experience with Microsoft Office Suite
