We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Heart & Vascular Center team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac care and procedural nursing.
- Provide nursing care for cardiac patients undergoing procedures
- Administer and monitor moderate sedation
- Prepare and recover patients before and after procedures
- Monitor airway and vital signs
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams
- Document in EPIC EMR system
- Current NY State RN License
- Minimum 2 years RN experience, preferably in Cardiac or ICU settings
- 5+ years recent acute care experience (hospital of similar or greater size/trauma level)
- BLS Certification (must be current or able to recertify)
- Experience with moderate sedation, airway monitoring, and procedural recovery
- Excellent communication and assessment skills
- EPIC EMR experience (preferred)
- Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center (highly desired)
- Electrophysiology (EP) nursing
- ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, Telemetry, Triage, Ambulatory Care
- Medical coding or insurance review experience
