We are seeking a well-qualified
RN to work in the Emergency Room Detox Triage.- Monitor vital signs and medication administration for patients pending transfer to Detox or Rehab.
- Perform comprehensive admission assessments and screen patients for contraband during admission to Detox and Rehab.
- Assess patients' suitable level of care considering psychiatric and medical comorbidities in collaboration with Rehab and Detox resident physicians.
- Monitor, document, and communicate with the team if any patient reports side effects from withdrawal medications.
- Update the physician daily on all patients seen and coordinate patient care with the physician.
- Coordinate with the admission team to admit to the Detox Unit.
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse training program.
- Current NYS RN License.
- Experience in addiction nursing with a strong preference for detox experience.

Pay: $84,952.00 per year
