The
Risk Programs Specialist is responsible for providing risk management consultation and advisory services to leaders throughout the credit union. They will be the key point of contract in developing and maintaining the credit union’s business continuity and vendor management programs. They will serve as a back-up for the Director of Compliance & Risk Management in the review of marketing materials for compliance with applicable federal and state laws and regulations. They will also ensure that risk issues identified as the result of the credit union’s risk assessment processes are tracked and reported. The position reports to the Chief Risk Officer.They need to interpret complex data and connect dots across systems, often identifying hidden risks others might overlook.
