As a Rising Star, you’ll work directly with individuals to assess their needs, develop personalized care plans, and connect them with essential services and supports. You’ll be part of a mission-driven team that values your expertise, supports your growth, and empowers you to make a real difference in your community.- Work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
- Currently enrolled or soon to be enrolled in a Degree seeking college program.
- One-year commitment.

- Proficient computer skills with familiarity with Microsoft Office programs
- Clinical Operations Support - Rising Stars may send documents to consumers, home care team members and callers with 100% accuracy to ensure HIPAA compliance. These documents include all clinical/medical record documentation, waiver applications and instructions.
- Quality Improvement - Rising Stars assist with ensuring all assessments are uploaded to State system, research quality metrics, perform clinical intake audits.
- Marketing - Rising Stars help to create a list of businesses in different segments to boost sales and marketing emails to produce monthly screensavers, update the website, assist with google analytics.
- Human Resources - Rising Stars help with succession planning, working tickets, scheduling interviews, posting positions on social media, and facilitating relationships with University Career Placement Offices.
- Business Development - Rising Stars work in a team coordinating Request for Proposals, Grant Writing, Accreditations and Contract Management.
- Finance - Rising Stars majoring in finance can help with processing payroll, accounts payable and work with the Revenue Cycle Manager on billing for the many programs CareStar is involved.
