Store Manager

This is a full time seasonal position. This position requires a commitment to work from mid- July through mid-November.


Store Manager Responsibilities include:


  • Understands and is totally sales and service focused on Spirit�s unique guest. Selling is our priority.
  • Responsible for the overall successful operation of the store while maintaining company standards.
  • Supervises, recruits, trains, develops, coaches and communicates with all Associates and Management.
  • Assesses staff performance.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of store products and uses this knowledge to build sales.
  • Practices suggestive selling, offering every guest related items in order to build multiple sales.
  • Leads by example and maintains the highest standards of integrity, quality and timeliness in all of our business practices both internally and with our external partners.
  • Merchandises the store following company directives and Supervisor�s instructions.
  • Prepares and maintains merchandise displays.
  • Operates with absolute fiscal responsibility.
  • Follows all Company policies and procedures.
  • Participates in store set up, daily operations, closing inventory and store close down.
  • Adheres to weekly work schedule and is flexible to the needs to the business.


Job Requirements


We are looking for creative, high energy, fun people with strong leadership and customer service skills.


  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • HS Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of two years� experience in retail, preferably in management
  • Reliable transportation
  • Able to pass company background check & drug test
  • Able to communicate effectively with Home Office, District Manager, landlords, realtors, city officials, store staff, and customers

The store you have selected is a Spirit Halloween Consignment Store. While you will be working with Spirit Halloween merchandise Spirit Halloween will not be your employer. Your employer will be the independent owner and operator, Valley Boo, LLC., who shall have sole responsibility for your employment. Spirit Halloween shall have no obligation or responsibility to you with regard to your employmentby the consignment operator. If hired, the consignment operator shall be solely responsible to you for your employment benefits and wages. You will be required to follow the employment and operating policies and procedures as established by the consignment operator.
