Peter Pots Pottery is a family-owned business in its 76th year handcrafting award-winning dinnerware and accessories. We are a small group of craftspeople working in a historic mill in South County. We are looking for someone for a retail sales position, to staff our showroom and interact with customers in person, online, and over the phone. This includes social media posts, website updates, email inquiries, and filling and shipping orders. A professional and organized approach is required. Our pottery is of mid-century modern design and we are in a unique rural setting, giving us a relaxed but sophisticated atmosphere. Being a small firm, everyone wears many hats and there is always something to be done, so flexibility, initiative, and self-direction are required. On a typical day you’ll open the store, check customer orders and inquiries, arrange a display, help unload the kiln, greet customers, pack and ship an order, and maybe photograph a new product. We have a culture that is casual and creative, while at the same time being professional and responsible. This is not a job for everyone, but it could be a very rewarding one for the right person.
