Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This role requires effective team management, operational oversight, and the ability to maintain high standards of food quality and safety.


Responsibilities


  • Manage daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to quality standards
  • Supervise and train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and customer service protocols
  • Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels
  • Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for cash handling and transaction processing
  • Implement food safety practices and maintain compliance with health regulations
  • Develop and manage budgets to optimize restaurant performance
  • Conduct interviews and hire new staff, fostering a positive team environment
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism to ensure satisfaction
  • Coordinate shift management to ensure adequate staffing during peak hours
  • Lead training & development initiatives to enhance team skills and performance


Requirements


  • Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food industry
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen management practices
  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures and point-of-sale systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS)
  • Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development
  • Experience in fine dining, casual dining, or quick service & fast food environments preferred
  • Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
  • Ability to manage budgets effectively while maintaining high operational standards
  • Culinary experience is a plus, along with banquet or catering experience
