We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant General Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the restaurant industry, with expertise in fast casual Mexican. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and customer service, and managing staff effectively to create a positive work atmosphere. $78,000 plus annual bonus in December if you manage food and labor to 56% total for the year. $6,000 in medical benefits and free meals included in addition to the annual salary and qualifying bonus.


Responsibilities


  • Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, inventory control, and cash handling.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Manage staff training and development, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
  • Utilize POS systems for efficient order processing and sales tracking.
  • Implement effective budgeting strategies to optimize profitability while maintaining quality service.
  • Supervise kitchen management, ensuring proper food production techniques are followed.
  • Conduct interviews and manage shift scheduling to ensure adequate staffing levels at all times.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Lead by example in all areas of restaurant management, promoting a positive work environment.


Experience


  • Must be fluent in Spanish and English.
  • 2 years or more experience as a restaurant general manager in the Mexican fast casual sector.
  • Hardworking general manager that has an owners mentality.
  • Solid experience managing the drive-up experience.
  • Strong customer service experience.
  • Outstanding leadership skills and experience.
  • Experience with team management, including training & development of staff members.
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership skills in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
  • Knowledge of budgeting processes and inventory control is essential for success in this role.
  • Ability to manage food costs at 28% or lower and labor costs at 32% or lower.
