Resort Manager

Located in the heart of northern Michigan's scenic landscape, Spillway Lodges is a new and growing resort that offers guests an exceptional retreat experience in beautiful Bellaire. We pride ourselves on delivering outstanding hospitality while showcasing the natural beauty and recreational opportunities of the region.

We are seeking an experienced Resort Manager to oversee daily operations and lead our team in providing exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership skills with a passion for hospitality and operational excellence.

• Guest Experience: Ensure all guests receive outstanding service and memorable experiences throughout their stay.
  
• Operations Management: Oversee daily resort operations including accommodations, facilities, and guest services.
  
• Team Leadership: Manage, train, and develop staff across multiple departments to maintain high service standards.
  
• Property Management: Maintain resort facilities, grounds, and equipment to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal.
  
• Process Improvement: Develop and implement operational procedures to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  
• Financial Management: Monitor budgets, revenue, and expenses while identifying opportunities for growth.
  
• Vendor Relations: Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and service providers.
  
• Marketing Support: Collaborate on promotional activities and community partnerships.
  
• Emergency Response: Handle guest concerns and emergency situations with professionalism and care.
  

• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in hospitality management, property management, or related field.
  
• Leadership: Proven track record of successfully managing teams and operations.
  
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  
• Flexibility: Ability to work varied schedules including weekends and holidays.
  
• Local Knowledge: Familiarity with northern Michigan tourism and recreational activities preferred.
  

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field.
  
• Experience with property management systems and reservation software.
  
• Knowledge of Michigan hospitality regulations and safety standards
