Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced

Construction Superintendent to lead the on-site execution of ground-up apartment buildings and mixed-use developments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multifamily construction, a deep understanding of scheduling and subcontractor coordination, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee all on-site construction activities from groundbreaking through final punch list and turnover.
  • Ensure projects are built according to plans, specifications, and local codes.
  • Coordinate daily tasks and manage subcontractors, vendors, and site labor.
  • Maintain project schedules and update progress regularly in collaboration with the project team.
  • Proactively identify and address potential issues that could impact cost, schedule, or quality.
  • Enforce company safety protocols and conduct regular site inspections and safety meetings.
  • Maintain organized documentation including daily reports, inspection logs, and photo documentation.
  • Work closely with architects, engineers, and ownership representatives during construction and inspections.
  • Manage materials deliveries and ensure proper staging and protection on-site.
  • Communicate regularly with the project manager to provide status updates, flag concerns, and coordinate project needs.


Qualifications:


  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on ground-up multifamily or mixed-use construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, especially structural concrete, wood framing, MEP systems, and finishes.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering multi-unit residential or mixed-use buildings.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • OSHA 30 certification required; additional safety training preferred.


Job Type: Full-time


Pay: $130,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
