Residential Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential care facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in group home settings and a strong commitment to providing high-quality care to residents. This role is vital in ensuring that the needs of our residents are met with dignity and respect while fostering a supportive community environment.

• Supervise staff and coordinate daily activities within the residential facility.
  
• Ensure compliance with all regulations and standards related to group home and community care.
  
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including meal preparation, personal care, and cleaning tasks.
  
• Provide direct support to residents, promoting their independence and well-being.
  
• Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and family members.
  
• Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and adjust care plans as necessary.
  
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all residents.
  
• Facilitate communication between staff, residents, families, and external service providers.
  

• Previous experience in a group home or similar residential setting is preferred.
  
• Knowledge of senior care practices, including meal preparation and personal care routines.
  
• Familiarity with direct support services for individuals with varying needs.
  
• Ability to lift and assist residents as required for their safety and comfort.
  
• Experience in nursing homes or personal care homes is a plus.
  
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  
• Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships among staff, residents, and families.
