Registered Nurse (RN) Non-Clinical

SS Medical, Inc. is contracted with Veterans Administration, and we are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist or Registered Nurse to serve our veteran's in the Edmond, OK branch. This position is designed to provide specialized non-clinical respiratory care and support to the patients in their home.

• Initial set-up of all Oxygen Patients and Ventilator Patients
  
• Perform Ninety Day Check/Follow Up to Plan of Care for Oxygen Patients
  
• Perform Thirty Day Check/Follow Up to Plan of Care for Ventilator Patients
  
• Provide patient re-education as needed
  
• Handle deliveries of medical equipment (Oxygen Tanks)
  
• Accurate documentation and paperwork
  
• Joint commission knowledge
  
• Rotating oncall schedule
  

• Associate's / bachelor's degree - Respiratory Therapy / Registered Nurse
  
• Continuing education as required for maintaining licensure.
  

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating manuals, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  
• Ability to write legibly and prepare routine reports and correspondence.
  
• Ability to speak effectively before customers and peers.
  

• Basic math skills
  

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
  

• Maintain current licensure for OK and surrounding states (reimbursement available) in good standing for states covered
  
• Valid driver�s license with a safe driving record.
  

• Frequent stooping, bending, walking, and light to moderate lifting of up to 55 pounds.
  

• Exposure to hazardous chemicals
  
• Potentially bio-contaminated equipment and environment
  
• Extremes of heat and cold
  
• Moderate to loud noise levels
  

• Exposure to adverse weather conditions while driving and loading/unloading equipment

Pay is based on Experience & Certification

Expected hours: Flexibility to work up to 50 hours a week.
