About the Role


As a Registered Nurse (RN) at Aspen Trace, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care across all shifts. Your primary responsibility will be to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident. Additionally, you will educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention, fostering a supportive environment. Ultimately, your dedication and expertise will contribute to enhancing the quality of life for our residents and ensuring their safety and comfort.


Job Responsibilities


  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor and document patients' progress and responses to treatment.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.


Minimum Qualifications


  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing.
  • Certification in a nursing specialty (e.g., gerontology, palliative care).
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
