Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and be committed to providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, and outpatient clinics. This role requires excellent assessment skills, the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, and a passion for supporting patients through their healthcare journeys.


Responsibilities


  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Assist in various procedures such as IV infusion, suturing, catheterization, and emergency interventions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to NCQA standards.
  • Provide compassionate care for patients with diverse needs, including those in hospice and palliative medicine.


Qualifications


  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice.
  • Experience in acute care settings preferred; critical care experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems such as Epic or Cerner is desirable.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology.
  • Strong skills in patient assessment, triage, and medication administration.
  • Experience working with specific populations such as geriatrics, pediatrics, or individuals with developmental disabilities is beneficial.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a high standard of care.
