Job Title: Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR)
- Perform scrub and circulating duties during surgical procedures
- Assist with IV insertions and perform phlebotomy as needed
- Administer conscious sedation under physician direction
- Prepare and maintain surgical suites, ensuring all instruments and equipment are properly set up and sterilized
- Collaborate with the surgical team, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists
- Document all perioperative activities accurately in accordance with hospital protocols
- Monitor patient conditions throughout the surgical process
- Adhere strictly to infection control and patient safety standards
- Active RN license in New York State (Primary Source Verified)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room experience, including both scrub and circulating roles
- Prior experience in Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) procedures required
- Proficient in IV therapy, phlebotomy, and administration of conscious sedation
- Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications
