Join our orthopedic surgery team! We are looking for a talented Registered Nurse - Operating Room!


You will help deliver professional and safe nursing care in the operative setting to patients undergoing a surgical procedure.


Working hours are Monday through Friday, with 8 or 10 hour shifts available. No scheduled cases on holidays or weekends.


Core Responsibilities


  • Performs circulating functions including monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition and managing overall nursing care of the patient before, during and after procedure.
  • Prepares operating rooms and surgical equipment/instruments for use
  • May perform scrub functions (with training) including the selection and handling of instrumentation and supplies used during procedure.
  • May assist operating physician with surgical tasks (with training) including hemostasis, suturing, and wound exposure.


Education / Licensure / Certification Requirements


Required:


  • BLS provider obtained within 1 month of hire.
  • ACLS obtained within 12 months of hire date.
  • Licensed as Registered Nurse credentialed from the WI Board of Nursing prior to hire date.
  • Graduate from accredited Registered Nurse program


Preferred:


  • Bachelor�s Degree in Nursing
