Located in beautiful Ketchum, ID, this position offers the rare combination of professional fulfillment and outdoor adventure.Our newly expanded birthing center offers full-spectrum care in labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum. Nurses in this unit are known for their excellence, collaboration, and passion for family-centered care.
What You’ll Do:* Provide nursing care to women during antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum stages.- Assist physicians and midwives during labor, delivery, and surgical procedures (e.g., C-sections).
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being using appropriate equipment and assessments.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed.
- Educate patients and families on prenatal, postpartum, and newborn care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure adherence to hospital policies.
- Follow infection control and safety protocols.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA required)
- Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
- Excellent critical thinking and time management skills
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications (must be AHA-certified).
