Salary: Wages are between $51.92 - $74.80 an hour. Increases are based on years of experience in the field. Plus, you will earn shift differentials for Nursing Resource, swing, night, and weekend hours:


  • $2.50 extra for working between 3:00pm - 11:00pm
  • $10.00 extra for working between 11:01pm and 7:00am
  • $2.50 extra for working weekends


$6.00 hour Critical Care Outreach Resource Pay

Position Summary


Asante Ashland Community Hospital (AACH), located in Ashland, Oregon, is a 49-bed community hospital that features a birthing center, surgery center, diagnostic imaging, a laboratory, respiratory testing, and surgery. Outpatient services include internal medicine, home health, wound care, and hyperbaric medicine. Founded in 1907, the hospital has grown and evolved to meet the changing needs of the community and the changing demands of healthcare.


The RN for AACH is responsible for delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation; and effectively interacting with patients and other health team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Key Responsibilities


  • Demonstrates sound clinical judgment and effective problem-solving abilities when utilizing the nursing process within the scope of practice.
  • Directs and coordinates nursing care, establishes priorities, and delegates nursing activities according to patient needs and staff scope of practice.
  • Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to adjust workload or duties in response to a change in work volume, emergencies, staffing or scheduling.

Position Qualifications


Education


Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred*.


Experience


  • Minimum 1 year of acute care experience is required.
Emergency Department, Urgent Care, or Critical Care experience, preferred*.


Licensure/Certifications


  • RN: Registered Nurse licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) required upon start.
  • BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start.
  • ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support certified by American Heart Association (AHA) within 4 months of hire and must be current to triage.
  • PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support certified by American Heart Association (AHA) within 4 months of hire and must be current to triage.
  • TNCC: Trauma Nurse Core Course within 4 months of hire and must be current to triage.
  • TEAM: Trauma Evaluation and Management is acceptable instead of TNCC for subsequent years.
  • NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification within 6 months of hire for Critical Outreach RNs.


Preferred Certifications


  • CEN: Certified Emergency Nurse.
  • CPEN: Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse.
  • TCRN: Trauma Certified Registered Nurse.
  • CFRN: Certified Flight Registered Nurse.
  • CCRN: Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse.
