As a member of the patient care team, the RN collaborates, communicates, and facilitates care with providers and patients or families. Virtual nurses maintain patient anonymity and safety through the use of various technological platforms. To be successful in the role, a nurse should be comfortable making autonomous clinical decisions to provide patient-centered care.
- Certification(s):Reference Mandatory Education for Clinical and Support Staff Policy for most current Certification requirements and complete required certifications within the grace period.
- License(s):Current State of Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- All new employees are required to produce a negative drug screen for all illegal substance in the state of Alaska prior to start of employment.
