Registered Dental Hygienist

Job Overview:
The role is responsible for providing high-quality dental care and educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices. The position requires a focus on teamwork and delivering compassionate care to a diverse patient base, with a particular emphasis on serving children.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering direct patient care, including scaling and prophylaxis, x-rays, and the application of sealants and fluoride, under the general supervision of a dentist.
Educating patients and their parents on oral hygiene instructions.
Assessing patients' dental conditions, needs, and reviewing their medical history.
Adhering to all government regulations and company standards.
Assisting with dental and periodontal charting as needed.
Taking and documenting x-rays in patient charts.
Guiding patients and their parents through the treatment process.
Requirements:
Current and active licensure as a Dental Hygienist.
CPR certification (BLS) from the ARC or AHA, including hands-on skill assessment.
