We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is essential in providing support and guidance to help clients achieve their personal goals and improve their quality of life.
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as designed by the BCBA.
- Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress to monitor effectiveness of interventions.
- Assist in the development of care plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Provide direct support in various settings, including home, school, or community environments.
- Utilize behavior management techniques to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members regarding client progress and challenges.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in all interactions.
- Proficient in data collection methods and analysis to track client progress.
- Strong understanding of behavior management strategies and techniques.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral health.
- Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum or those with developmental disabilities.
- Knowledge of special education practices is beneficial.
- Ability to provide patient care with empathy and respect for individual differences.
- Experience in behavioral therapy settings is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
