Real Estate Paralegal who is also well-versed in title closings and all facets of the real estate transaction process. If you thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact environment and enjoy wearing multiple hats, you’ll fit right in.


Who We’re Looking For:

The ideal candidate will have significant experience supporting attorneys in real estate litigation matters and in managing residential and commercial real estate closings from contract to post-closing. You’ll be someone who understands the nuances of title work, can spot issues before they arise, and knows how to keep deals, and lawsuits, moving forward.


Key Responsibilities:


Litigation Support


  • Manage litigation matters from intake through trial, including discovery, deadlines, calendaring, and file management.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, and other filings with precision.
  • Organize exhibits, deposition summaries, and trial prep materials; attend hearings as needed.
  • Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel professionally and effectively.


Title & Transactional Support


  • Handle real estate closings from start to finish, including ordering title searches, clearing title, preparing closing statements, and issuing final title policies.
  • Review contracts, commitment letters, and closing documents for accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate with lenders, agents, buyers, and sellers to ensure a smooth closing experience.
  • Address curative issues and navigate complex title scenarios with confidence.


General


  • Conduct legal research related to Florida real estate law, case law, and title regulations.
  • Maintain organized case files and track critical deadlines across multiple matters.
  • Assist attorneys with both litigation and transactional tasks as needed.


Qualifications:


  • Minimum 3 years of title closing experience (law firm or title company background preferred).
  • Knowledge of Florida real estate law and litigation procedures, including e-filing.
  • Proven ability to draft, review, and manage legal and closing documents.
  • Familiarity with closing software, title systems, and case management tools.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; detail-oriented and resourceful.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and anticipate attorney needs.

Job Type: Full-time


Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
