The Idaho HealthCorps (IHC) AmeriCorps program partners community members with non-profits across Idaho. These community members serve in paid volunteer positions called AmeriCorps positions. These positions offer community members the opportunity to receive support while volunteering with their favorite non-profit. The opportunity is offered each year from Sept 1- Aug 31. The IHC program focuses on health education, health screenings , and promotion of overall health.
St. Vincent de Paul is a faith-based organization working to build a sustainable improved standard of living for the people we serve. The Reentry Career Development & Navigation program focuses on supporting women and men transitioning back into society after incarceration.The Re-Entry Specialist will assist with employment efforts and assist with reintegration into the community. They will provide direct support to the program participants as well as community partners and employers. They will continue to build on existing reentry programs, develop new avenues of support, building relationships with the Treasure Valley community and community partners. Members do not participate in prohibited activities. Members do not supplement, duplicate, or displace staff members at the host site. Members with this program have recurring access to vulnerable populations.
