An international automotive parts manufacturing company is currently searching for an experienced
Quality Supervisor to join their facility in the northeastern Toledo, Ohio area. The ideal candidate will have previous leadership experience in an industrial setting and a positive, team-oriented mindset. This is a full-time and direct hire position.- Supervision of quality associates, including training, participating in performance reviews, oversight of daily activities and work assignments, etc.
- Oversee product quality assurance; lead investigations into quality issues and determine causes and solutions
- Documentation of quality assurance activities, such as PPAP, Quality Control Plans, etc.
- Ensure company standards and safety initiatives are being met on the production floor and quality / testing lab area(s)
- Assist with preparations for quality audits and process improvement initiatives
- Creation of miscellaneous activity and incident reports for upper management
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimum high school diploma or GED required
- Previous work history in quality control and leadership within a manufacturing setting
- Knowledge of customer, industry, and state / federal quality standards; additional familiarity with ISO 9001 is a plus but not required
- Strong communication and collaboration ability in a multicultural environment
