The Detail Inspector plays a key role in supporting P&W’s business lines by ensuring engine components are thoroughly examined and inspected after disassembly. This role ensures quality standards are exceeded so that the next phase of overhaul can be completed on the shop floor. The person selected for this position will work on our alternate work week, which is Friday-Sunday 5am-5pm.
To excel in this role, you will need to be someone with a keen attention to detail and be able to prioritize safety and compliance to ensure P&W standards are met. You must have the ability to adjust and manage priorities, have good time management skills, work independently, and adhere to all EH&S policies.
Pratt & Whitney in Bridgeport, WV is a FAA regulated facility and as such under the U.S. Departments of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAA’s regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.
