Correctional Health Services, one of the largest county jail healthcare systems, is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Psychiatric NP) or a Psychiatric Physician Assistant (Psychiatric PA) for an exciting opportunity to work with incarcerated individuals. The Psychiatric NP or PA will work within an interdisciplinary team to provide integrated health care to patients navigating the judicial system. A Psychatric NP or PA working within CHS has the opportunity to impact people when they are at their most difficult times, giving the Psychiatric NP or PA a unique ability to make substantial positive changes in the lives of incarcerated individuals, their families, and the community.

We Require* One year of psychiatric or corrections experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Working Conditions* Must be able to work inside a jail and stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time throughout the shift while accurately handling a high volume of work, communicating with a culturally diverse patient population, and adapting to frequent changes, interruptions, and unscheduled tasks
