We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee residential properties in our New Haven and Hartford locations. This role is responsible for tenant relations, lease management, rent collection, budgeting, maintenance oversight, and ensuring compliance with Connecticut landlord‑tenant laws.
- Market and lease units, screen applicants, manage renewals/move‑outs
- Collect rent, manage delinquencies, prepare financial reports
- Coordinate maintenance, inspections, and vendor services
- Ensure compliance with state housing regulations and fair housing laws
- Maintain accurate records using property management software (Yardi, Rent Manager, etc.)
- Lead on‑site staff and foster positive tenant relationships
- 3+ years� property management experience
- Strong knowledge of CT landlord‑tenant law
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Proficiency in property management software (YARDI) and MS Office
- CPM, CAM, or ARM certification a plus
- Bilingual Spanish is a PLUS
