We are seeking a reliable Property Management Assistant to support daily operations of a growing property management and real estate office. The ideal candidate will be a team player, client focused and detail oriented with strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and accurately. Prefer a candidate with property management or accounting background.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Accounting and Financial Duties: Posting tenant charges, payments and adjustments to the ledger, accurate accounting, balancing daily deposits, and assisting with monthly and yearly financial reports. Processing vendor invoices and assist with payment disbursement. Tracking commissions and expenses of the business for yearly reporting.
  • Leasing and Tenant Coordination: Assist with move-ins and move-outs, scheduling inspections, perform audits of files as needed, and providing excellent customer service. Preparing tenant notices as needed. Maintaining customer service program.
  • Maintenance & Work Orders: Coordinate maintenance with vendors to ensure timely completion of repairs.
  • General Administrative & Office Support and support the property manager with daily tasks and special projects.


Job Type: Part-time


Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour


Expected hours: No more than 32 per week


Experience:


  • Customer service: 2 years (Required)
  • Accounting: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Property management: 2 years (Preferred)
