Patterson Fuels and Propane, a Vermont family owned heating fuel, propane & service business since 1973! We’re looking for a full time Propane and Oil residential heating technician/installer to join our heating service team. Applicants should be certified in propane and/or oil service with a minimum two years of experience working in the field. Applicants with certification in only one of the above will be considered. All applicants must be organized, committed to customer service, have a clean driving record, and possess an ability to work independently as well as part of a team. This job requires being part of an on-call rotation with 6 other technicians.

- Install, repair, and maintain heating systems such as furnaces, boilers, water heaters, fuel & propane tanks.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating equipment to determine necessary repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance of heating systems.
- Collaborate with customers to provide recommendations on heating system upgrades or replacements.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on heating systems.
- Document work performed and maintain accurate records of service calls and repairs.
