PROJECT MANAGER - MILLWORK


OVERVIEW:


Artisan Display, Inc. is a leading millwork fabricator in the Philadelphia market. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager who will be responsible for project oversight for multiple millwork projects at a time. The Project Manager will act as primary point of contact for our customers during all phases of the planning, scheduling, fabrication and installation processes.


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Manage multiple projects from start up through fabrication, delivery and installation
  • Effectively manage all communication with contractors, architects and subcontractors: answering emails, attending site meetings, providing detailed accounts and acting as a competent and professional company representative
  • Analyze job requirements and customer schedule and set project timelines for submittals, fabrication and installation
  • Maintain accurate logs for submittals, samples, change orders, etc.
  • Obtain field measurements and coordination with the onsite staff
  • Work with customer and install lead to coordinate job site material deliveries
  • Review and QC all submittal/shop drawings prior to client review
  • Work closely with drafting department to review and red line shop drawings, track corrections and revisions
  • Maintain shop drawing set throughout the job: tracking and adding changes as they occur
  • Formulate RFI�s
  • Prepare and submit change orders
  • Photograph and document installation


REQUIRED SKILLS AND EDUCATION:


  • Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, similar or related work experience
  • Minimum 5 years construction project management experience
  • Must be able to read construction drawings, specs, and scope documents
  • Working knowledge of AWI standards
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work as a part of a team and independently
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
