About us


Idaho Site Works is a prime earth, wet utilities and landscape contractor with emphasis in the public works and commercial construction projects. We are seeking a team member with a desire to convert their academic pursuits into civil construction and or landscape construction.


Job Summary


The Project Engineer assists the Superintendents and Project Managers in field work support, estimating, procurement, preparing reports, subcontracts, and providing overall support in every aspect of each project. Attention to detail and excellent communication skills are a must.


Schedule: typically M-F days, some flexibility ultimately work needs to get done, and we have a steady pipeline of exciting projects throughout the Treasure Valley and West Treasure Valley!

Skills & Experience Required


  • Bachelors degree in Landscape/Horticulture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related.
  • Excellent working knowledge of construction procedures, building systems and tools
  • Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to solve problems and work under pressure
  • Knowledgeable at reading plans, shop drawings and specifications
  • Excellent math and computer skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with workers and trades.
  • Knowledge of MS Office, Bluebeam, and Procore. HCSS Heavy Bid or B2W


Day to Day duties


  • Collaborate with the project team to develop project plans and schedules.
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of assigned construction projects from start to finish
  • Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and blueprints.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project success.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budget.
  • Conduct regular site visits to inspect work quality, safety compliance, and progress.
  • Prepare and submit progress reports, change orders, and other project documentation.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate project records, including drawings, specifications, and
