Project Designer / CAD Specialist

We are a Bergen County-based architectural and MEP design firm specializing in small to mid-sized retail fit-out projects throughout NYC. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented

• Develop and coordinate design development and construction documents using AutoCAD and other drafting software.
  
• Participate in site surveys and field measurements to create accurate existing condition drawings.
  
• Coordinate closely with engineers and architects throughout project development.
  
• Prepare and revise technical drawings based on feedback and design updates.
  
• Ensure all drawings adhere to NYC Building Code, IBC, and internal CAD standards.
  
• Maintain and organize office CAD standards, construction details, layers, and templates.
  
• Contribute to multiple projects simultaneously and attend regular project meetings.
  

• 3-5+ years of experience in architectural drafting, preferably in retail fit-out projects in NYC.
  
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; working knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or similar software is a plus.
  
• Thorough understanding of architectural drafting principles, construction documentation, and building codes.
  
• Experience creating DOB submission drawings and construction sets.
  
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  
• Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of working independently.
  
• Associate�s or Bachelor�s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
