Position: School Nurse - Itinerant


Evaluated by: Principal/Assistant Principal - Home School


Salary Range: Professional Salary Schedule Salary based on experience and education level per Putnam County Board of Education salary schedule plus a competitive benefits package to include: PEIA insurance, retirement, life insurance, and free vision and dental insurance.


Job Description: The School Nurse is assigned to deliver health services to students in accordance with state and county policies and guidelines.


Qualifications: Holds or qualifies for a West Virginia Professional Service Certificate endorsed for school nurse. Holds a valid West Virginia License for Registered Nurse.


Length of Employment: 200 Days


Responsibilities: The School Nurse shall have the responsibilities and duties as outlined in the job description.
