Whether you’re leading a 2-person crew or stepping in with a 5-man team, your leadership sets the tone for the entire job. We’re looking for someone who motivates others, takes initiative, and always looks for ways to improve.

Here’s what a typical day might look like as a Crew Leader:

Start the day with a quick check-in, team update, and a little motivation. Celebrate wins and set goals.

Hop into one of our clean, well-maintained trucks and head to the customer’s location. You’ll be responsible for reviewing the job scope and assigning roles.

Coordinate your team while working side-by-side to safely move furniture, boxes, and specialty items. Think strategically, delegate well, and handle surprises with confidence.

Every move is a chance to make someone’s day. You’ll communicate clearly, show respect for their belongings, and wrap up the job with professionalism and pride.

Return to HQ, recap the day, and prep for tomorrow. If you did great work - and you probably did - expect a 5-star review, tips, and high-fives from your crew.

This is an on-site, full-time role based in Ankeny, Iowa, with jobs taking place across the Des Moines metro - including:

Urbandale

West Des Moines

Waukee

Johnston

Altoona

Clive

And surrounding areas

You’ll get to know the city inside and out - and be a welcome sight to customers across central Iowa.

To be considered, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
  
• Be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  
• Pass a criminal background check
  
• Have reliable transportation
  
• Be able to lift heavy items repeatedly (75-100 lbs)
  
• Communicate well in English
  
• Have customer-facing experience (preferred)
  
• Leadership or team lead experience (a big plus)
