The ACES Professional Development and School Improvement unit seeks a dynamic, articulate educator with experience and expertise in one or a combination of areas (PK-3, early literacy, special education, science, and/or TESOL/bilingual education) to join our highly-motivated team of specialists to design and provide a wide range of customized, innovative professional learning experiences for teachers, administrators, and school leaders.


A specialist in this cutting-edge position supports ACES member district initiatives through training, coaching and modeling a variety of educational best practices including the integration of AI in education. A proven capacity to effectively work and collaborate with adult learners is essential, as are strong skills with educational technology tools and programs. The ability to take initiative, manage multiple priorities, and remain flexible in a fast-paced environment is a must.


The ideal candidate will have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience and demonstrate knowledge of: adult learning theory; professional learning design; data-driven practices; educational technology; and comprehensive knowledge of standards, curriculum, pedagogy and best practice in early childhood PK-3


CT teacher certification in the appropriate area(s) is required; Intermediate Administrator Certification (092) is preferred, but not required.
