Company Summary: Troy Nonwovens uses recycled plastic materials to create clean and lightweight synthetic fiber used in numerous commercial applications such as padding, linings, insulation, and industrial filters. Troy currently focuses on automotive applications and supplies material to 1st tier customers for both thermal and acoustic products. The company operates multiple lines of needle bonded PET.


Objective: Our company is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing maintenance for second or third shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for production operations of employees, machinery, and equipment to ensure uninterrupted production. The position coordinate production activities to optimize equipment performance, minimize downtime, and support the overall production goals. This role involves executing production based on the schedules, troubleshooting equipment issues, managing the shift’s employees, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. This position requires a willingness to be involved with projects in a hands-on manner to maintain production.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


· Ensure all employees follow all personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety requirements.


· Identify potential safety hazards and take necessary actions to ensure employee safety.


· Ensure all employees comply with the Plant rules and procedures.


· Detect malfunctions and discuss machine operation variations with employees or maintenance workers to diagnose problems or repair machines.


· Develop and conduct training for employees on assorted topics, including safety, quality, compliance, and performance.


· Conduct investigations into employee complaints and recommend appropriate actions to address concerns.


· Ensure employees complete the proper paperwork, computer data, quality checks, and all other required documentation.


· Complete all forms and reports required by the supervisors.


· Other duties, as assigned by Management.


Education and Experience:


· High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
