Position Overview:


Navistar is seeking a

Production Planner to join our team at our Manufacturing Facility in San Antonio Texas


The

Production Planner plans, coordinates and/or performs manufacturing setup of products through the production process. They coordinate and execute process to ensure materials are provided according to production requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Works with Industrial engineering team to understand future parts and/or process introductions and setup part routing updates.
  • Facilitates and coordinates activities with Industrial and Manufacturing Engineers, as well as Launch team to support and execute product changes and new introductions.
  • Support pilot build operations in hands on activities to ensure successful builds.
  • Develop, document, and maintain documents that standardize operations, including but not limited to SWI, Build Books, Visual aids, etc.
  • Participate in corrective actions related to internal or external defects in pilot builds.
  • Performs and executes training plans, prepares build books, coordinates pilot builds, and captures and follows up all issues identified in the implementation process.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor�s degree


OR* At least 2 years of production control/planning and/or customer service experience
