Production Operator II/III / Sr. Operator (OSD Manufacturing)

Work Location: Chantilly, VA

Compensation: Based on experience

Shifts Available:

• 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM
  
• 3rd Shift: 12:00 AM - 8:30 AM
  

Must be open to overtime and shift flexibility

About the Role:

We are seeking experienced and detail-oriented

Production Operators (Level II, III, Sr. Operator) with Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) manufacturing expertise. You will be responsible for operating, cleaning, and maintaining state-of-the-art production equipment including compression, granulation, encapsulation, and coating machines, ensuring compliance with cGMP standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate equipment including tablet presses, granulators, encapsulators, and coaters (e.g., Fette, MG2, Korsch, Glatt).
  
• Follow batch records, SOPs, and GMP regulations during production.
  
• Perform cleaning, setup, dismantling, and changeovers of equipment.
  
• Conduct in-process quality checks and accurate documentation.
  
• Participate in troubleshooting and continuous improvement projects.
  
• Maintain a clean and safe manufacturing environment.
  
• Collaborate with team members and support cross-functional activities.
  

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma / GED or equivalent.
  
• 2-5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical OSD manufacturing (compression, encapsulation, coating, granulation).
  
• Proficiency in equipment operation, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting.
  
• Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and batch documentation.
  
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
  
• Basic English communication (read and speak instructions clearly).
  

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Wurster coating, bead tower, and fluid bed dryers.
  
• Forklift certification (preferred, not required).
  
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $35.00 per hour
