Prepare manufacturing shop drawings and work order / detail sheets for customer orders through the use of AutoCad base drawings and the Friedman Frontier ERP system. Utilize the Engineering Drawing Database to create production drawings. Verify applications and construct work orders as well as bills of material for order fabrication through our ERP system. Update, correct and/or create drawings based on application. Maintain/ensure that all standards are followed and, upon request, provide supporting documentation for construction.
- Accurate, neat and timely preparation of design fabrication drawings for customer and manufacturing use.
- Correct and timely preparation and modification of fabrication bills of material.
- Correct and timely preparation and modification of fabrication work order information.
- Interact with engineering staff and with other supporting departments.
Job Requirements:
- AS Mechanical Engineering Technology
- BS Mechanical Engineering or similar.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, release 2016 or later is essential.
- Some knowledge of Autodesk Inventor, ERP systems, fabrication processes and mechanical background preferred.
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, etc.)
- Strong analytical, problem solving and technical skills required with the ability to meet deadlines.
