Production Associate

• Read and interpret tickets to build pallets of slabs
  
• Operate hand truck to load and/or move materials
  
• Supply production areas with needed materials from inventory
  
• Supports the manufacturing process through inspection and aid to machine operators
  
• Coordinates and requests material transfers
  
• Inspect slabs for defects
  
• Route doors through manufacturing
  
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  
• Other duties as assigned
  

What you will do:

What you will need:

• Preferably one year experience in manufacturing/production setting.
  
• HS Diploma or GED preferred
  
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
  

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Handling/stacking requirements
  
• Read/interpret schedules/tickets.
  
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bending, twisting, stooping, excellent dexterity, must work at a fast pace, fast pace is physically demanding.
  
• Strong eye/hand coordination
  
• Standing for long continuous hours
  
• Constant attention to detail and accuracy of material placement
  
• Concentration on proper lifting and ensure floors are kept free of debris.
  
• Regular attendance and timeliness is an essential function of the job in order to not have any disruptions in production and customer service
  
• Follow all operational and safety SOP�s as written.
