- Provides teaching to patients and families on preventative, curative and rehabilitative measures involved in wound care
- Documents all patient education activities
- Provides care and teaching to patients who have complex and/or non-healing wounds

- Application of wound care ointments and surgical dressings
- Sterile and non-sterile dressing changes
- Application of silver nitrate for debridement
- Perform conservative sharp debridement when indicated

Graduate of a registered nursing program
Current RN licensure
BLS certification
