Our company is a dynamic job shop specializing in build to print precision sheet metal components and weldments to the electronic, semi-conductor, life science and security industries. The ideal candidate will have well-rounded fabrication experience and be flexible to work in various departments to support production needs.
· Set up press brake for operation by selecting the appropriate tooling, installing dies, and making necessary adjustments
· Use precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers and gauges to verify parts meet specified dimensions and tolerances
· Operate press brake to manufacture parts to support production schedule and meet productivity and quality goals
· Perform varied fabrication operations such as countersinking, tapping, etc
· Inspect tooling for damage and wear
· Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines. Minimize and report safety hazards
· Maintain a clean and organized work area
· Troubleshoot issues that arise during the production process such as machine malfunctions or irregularities in the bending process
· Collaborate with management to resolve problems
· Maintain accurate records of production output and machine settings
· Contribute to and support continuous improvement
· Other duties as assigned
· Minimum 5 years experience forming complex shapes
· Must be able to setup and operate Amada press brakes (4’ and 8’)
· Must be able to read and interpret blue prints/drawings
· Good communication skills
· Collaborative team-player
· High School/GED
· Technical or vocational training in metal fabrication
· Ability to lift/move 35 lbs
· Performing the duties of this job requires regularly standing and lifting

Pay: $21.00 - $27.00 per hour
