Schedule: Between the hours of operation 7:30-5:30PM

Salary: $20-23 an hour

• Implement curriculum and lessons that promote early childhood social, emotional and cognitive development
  
• Understand the importance of learning through play and its value
  
• Can strike a balance of child-led learning with classroom structure and academic rigor using developmentally appropriate approaches
  
• Are team players and enjoy collaboration with other early childhood educators
  
• Assist teachers in other classrooms as needed
  
• Complete ongoing professional development, special events, and training that provides insight on childcare and development topics.
  
• Are receptive to feedback from team members and the director
  
• Possess exceptional organization and communication skills with parents and team members both in person and in writing
  

Job Requirements / Responsibilities:

Preschool Teacher and Teacher Aide Requirements

• Minimum of 12 ECE units
  
• At least one year experience working in a licensed childcare center or related field
  
• The ability to meet state requirements for education and additional center requirements by taking additional courses as needed
  
• Clean background check and medical clearance
  
• Reliable transportation
  

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
