This position is expected to begin in Summer 2026.

• Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out tasks.
  
• Assist with development of a project prior to on-site construction activities
  

+ Cost Estimating - determine quantities utilizing a traditional 2D takeoff tool such as On-Screen Takeoff or 3D model quantities utilizing a program such as Assemble.

+ Schedule Development - review project documentation to determine scope involved to assist in creating a preliminary project schedule.

+ Logistics Planning - study characteristics of the project site to determine best approach to phasing, access, and laydown areas.

• Follows instructions to accomplish tasks assigned by senior staff.
  
• Meets required schedules while producing quality work.
  
• Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study.
  
• Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional

• Candidates must be currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a Bachelor�s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar field with the intent to continue after the internship, unless graduating.
  
• Candidates must have completed 2 years of study in their program.
  

• Experience working for a large general contractor.
  
• Previous relevant internship experience.
  
• Exposure to other construction-based computer programs.
  
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, and Outlook), as well as exposure to other construction-based computer programs.
  

• Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
  
• Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
  
• This position does not include relocation benefits.
