Fortified Nutrition is seeking a

Poultry Sales Representative to support and grow our customer base across Montana. In this role, you’ll work directly with poultry producers - including independent farms and Hutterite colonies - to provide tailored nutritional solutions, on-farm support, and trusted advice to help improve their operation's profitability and performance.


Working with us:


This is a permanent, full-time position. Your home base will be where you live, which means you will work remotely with access to our facilities in Shelby. You will travel within your assigned territory in Montana up to 5 days a week.


What you’ll do:


  • Build and strengthen relationships with poultry producers by visiting farms regularly, understanding their operations, and becoming a trusted advisor.
  • Develop customized feeding programs using Fortified Nutrition�s branded products to meet the specific goals and objectives of each farm.
  • Proactively manage your territory, ensuring regular contact with existing accounts and maintaining a live list of key prospects, with the goal of converting them into active customers.
  • Diagnose on-farm challenges by conducting barn tours and providing informed recommendations to improve animal health, nutrition, and production outcomes.
  • Collaborate with our in-house nutrition team to prepare rations and present feeding strategies clearly and promptly to customers.
  • Introduce new products and technologies to existing and prospective customers, setting up on-farm trials and collecting performance data.
  • Support marketing efforts by participating in industry events, tradeshows, producer meetings, and local community engagements.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of orders, timely follow-up, and clear documentation of customer needs.
  • Provide input into product and service development by sharing customer feedback and on-farm insights at sales meetings.
  • Track sales activities, customer interactions, and account details through reporting and record-keeping to support transparency and team alignment.
  • Assist with collections of accounts receivable within your territory as needed.
  • Manage your schedule independently, with travel throughout Montana Monday to Friday.


Your background includes:


  • 5+ years of experience in poultry production, feed sales, or related agricultural sales.
  • Experience working with Hutterite colonies and independent producers is a strong asset.
  • Solid knowledge of poultry and livestock nutrition, farm systems, and industry trends.
  • A proactive, relationship-driven approach to customer service and business development.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills (MS Office).
  • Valid U.S. driver�s license and willingness to travel throughout Montana.
